This document provides an overview of the concepts underlying Beeks Analytics and related products.
Its purpose is to help readers understand how Beeks Analytics empowers its users with monitoring and business insights to build a successful trading business.
This document includes a high-level overview of Beeks Analytics products, the architecture and workflows, and key concepts. It introduces related products such as Market Edge Intelligence. Full details of the details of these products can be obtained separately from Beeks.
Audience
The intended audience for this document is a business or technology decision maker, or a user of Beeks Analytics that wishes to gain a deeper understanding of how the system works so that they can configure it to achieve the desired monitoring outcomes.

The Introduction to Beeks Analytics section describes in simple business terms what Beeks Analytics does, and introduces terminology which will be used throughout the document.
The Beeks Analytics solutions section introduces the different ways in which the Beeks Analytics software can be packaged and delivered, and it introduces the related Market Edge Intelligence software.
The technical foundation of Beeks Analytics is introduced in the Beeks Analytics Architecture section, covering the hardware it can run on, its APIs and other interfaces, and the persistent data stores which it uses.
The QuestDB database software is an increasingly important part of the Beeks Analytics open architecture - we discuss more why we use QuestDB for Beeks Analytics and the benefits of this approach.
This architecture section also provides a more thorough grounding in some of the Beeks Analytics terminology introduced in the introduction section, for a more technical audience (although you can also refer to the online glossary if you get stuck at any point.
We then explore in detail the three main components of Beeks Analytics - VMX-Capture, VMX-Analysis and VMX-Explorer. The modular nature of the Beeks Analytics architecture allows it to be used as a foundation for not just monitoring but also, for example, market data packet capture collection and distribution for exchanges.
Accurate statistics are a cornerstone of Beeks Analytics, and the concept of how these are presented via aggregations is fundamental to all three main components of Beeks Analytics. This section also introduces the concept of a nodepath, which is a shared concept between not just Beeks Analytics but also Market Edge Intelligence.
