Tick-to-trade is the time it takes for a trade to be executed from the moment the decision to trade is made. It includes the time taken for the order to be placed, transmitted, matched, and finally executed on the exchange.

Tick-to-trade focuses on the latency from the trader’s perspective - from placing the trade to the actual execution of the trade.
