Canned queries are preconfigured queries that have been created by the Implementation & Deployment Team at Beeks, which you can use to build your own dashboards in VMX-Explorer.

Why use a canned query?

The benefit of using a canned query in your dashboard is that it enables you to create your dashboard query fast, with fields and filters preconfigured. You can further filter the expected query results when creating your dashboard.

How do I use a canned query in my dashboard?

If a Query ID field is displayed in the Query Configuration panel for a given endpoint, then you can use a canned query.

The Query ID is the unique name of a canned query. The Beeks I&D Team will share a list of the canned queries for your Beeks Analytics deployment.

Enter the name of the canned query into the Query ID field. All filters and settings that you set up in this panel will apply to the canned query.
