mdPlay is a standalone replay-only version of the main Beek Analytics VMX-Capture component. Use it for replaying real data that has been captured from the network by Packet Capture probes in order to reproduce the conditions that occurred during an episode of poor system performance, or when you want to work on optimising performance or test scaling. mdPlay is designed to support troubleshooting, optimisation, testing, and assessing the success of different proposed fixes.
mdPlay is usually integrated with your test tools via an automation, but if required, it can be used with an administration browser view that allows you to specify the data that will be replayed. You can then view the results in the Grafana view of the same tool.
