  1. Run the installer: Open the approved BeeksRDPManager installer and follow the setup prompts.

  1. Launch the app: Use the Windows Start menu or the desktop shortcut.

  1. Set the app PIN: Create and confirm a PIN when prompted. You can disable app lock later from the menu after entering the current PIN.

  1. Select + Add server: Choose RDP or SSH.

  1. Enter the details: Add a display name, host or IP, port, username, and optional group or notes.

  1. Choose settings: For RDP, configure display and device redirection. For SSH, choose Password or Private key authentication.

  1. Save: The profile appears in the RDP or SSH section on the left.

DEFAULT PORTS
RDP normally uses 3389. SSH normally uses 22. Use the port provided by Beeks.

3. Connect

  1. Select a server: The status on the right shows ping time and whether its configured RDP or SSH port is reachable.

  1. Choose Connect: You can also double-click the server.

10.      Enter the credential: Type the RDP password, SSH password, or private-key passphrase.

11.      Save only on trusted PCs: The app can protect the secret for the current Windows user so it does not need to be entered each time.

SSH FIRST CONNECTION
Verify the displayed SHA-256 host fingerprint with a trusted administrator before saving it.

 4. RDP essentials

·      Use Fit window for automatic sizing, or choose a fixed resolution.

·      Clipboard, local drive mapping, printers, audio, multiple monitors, and RD Gateway are available in RDP settings.

·      Use Disconnect before closing the tab when your work is complete.

5. SSH essentials

·      Supports passwords, SSH agent keys, OpenSSH keys, and PuTTY PPK v3 RSA or Ed25519 keys.

·      The terminal supports color output, command history, Tab completion, selection, copy/paste, scrollback, and common function/navigation keys.

·      Paste with Ctrl+V or Ctrl+Shift+V. Copy selected text with Ctrl+Shift+C or Ctrl+Insert.

·      Use Up/Down for shell history and Shift+Page Up/Down for local scrollback.

6. Daily controls

·      Ctrl+N: add a server.  Ctrl+F: search.  F11: toggle fullscreen.

·      Open multiple connections in tabs and switch between them.

·      The server list refreshes ping and port status every 30 seconds.

·      Use the lock button to hide the app behind its PIN.

·      To stop startup and idle PIN prompts, open the menu and choose Disable app lock.

·      Use Export encrypted backup to protect the server-profile list. Saved passwords and passphrases are not included in that backup.

7. If a connection fails

·      Check the host/IP, port, username, VPN, firewall, and server availability.

·      For RDP, also check NLA, RD Gateway, and account restrictions.

·      For SSH, check the authentication method, private-key path, passphrase, and server authorized_keys file.

SECURITY
Never ignore an SSH HOST KEY CHANGED warning. Confirm the new fingerprint through a separate trusted channel before reconnecting.
