Action Logs record significant actions by users of the Portal, such as login events, password resets, and compute management events such as users building, deleting, restarting, powering on/off compute.

Select Administration > Action Logs to open the Action Logs view in the Portal.

On this page, you can:

  • view the actions taken by individual users.

  • select the column selector and then choose which columns to display in the grid.

  • enter a username into the Search field to filter the data in the grid to show only the actions by a specific user.

  • select Refresh to refresh the data in the grid.

  • select Export Results to download the filtered data in csv format.

Action Logs

By default, the Action Logs are organised into the following columns:

  • Date/time
    The timestamp of the action.

  • Username
    The name of the user that performed the action.

  • IP Address
    The IP address of the user that performed the action.

  • Type of Action
    The category of action, e.g., Login.

The admin/action-log/ endpoint can be used to retrieve the action logs.
