Action Logs record significant actions by users of the Portal, such as login events, password resets, and compute management events such as users building, deleting, restarting, powering on/off compute.
Select Administration > Action Logs to open the Action Logs view in the Portal.
On this page, you can:
view the actions taken by individual users.
select the column selector and then choose which columns to display in the grid.
enter a username into the Search field to filter the data in the grid to show only the actions by a specific user.
select Refresh to refresh the data in the grid.
select Export Results to download the filtered data in csv format.
By default, the Action Logs are organised into the following columns:
Date/time
The timestamp of the action.Username
The name of the user that performed the action.IP Address
The IP address of the user that performed the action.Type of Action
The category of action, e.g., Login.
The admin/action-log/ endpoint can be used to retrieve the action logs.
