Scope
This document explains how to use the Portal to administer Proximity Cloud and Exchange Cloud deployments. Its purpose is to explain how the user can take advantage of the different features of these services.
There are two ways to access information about your Beeks services: via the Beeks portal and via an Application Programming Interface (API). The portal is a user interface that you can open in the browser, while the API is used by software integrations to send and receive information about your services.
This document is not an API reference guide, but some references are included to particular endpoint names in order to help readers to relate concepts explained in this guide to the Portal API. The Portal API itself is fully documented in the Portal API Reference .
The document is not a comprehensive guide to all features of the Portal. It should be read in conjunction with the Portal User Guide, which covers general usage of the Portal. The purpose of this guide is to focus on the areas of functionality that are only exposed to Proximity Cloud and Exchange Cloud customers.
The document is not intended as a guide for Portal clients who Proximity Cloud or Exchange Cloud users may choose to allocate specific compute resources to. The Portal User Guide covers the more limited areas of the Portal that are exposed to Client users.
Audience
The intended audience for this document is any user of the Beeks Portal who has subscribed to Proximity Cloud and/or Exchange Cloud services.
