Beeks Analytics for Markets (BAM) is the standard Beeks Analytics configuration.
BAM is a quick-to-configure templated deployment of a Beeks Analytics system, specifically focusing on monitoring communication at the edge of your network and/or specifically the performance of other trading venues and counterparties that you or your clients connect to. Monitor all of your network traffic, with dedicated TCP, UDP, Market Data, and Order Entry dashboards, bandwidth, packet loss and multiple granularities of microburst measurement, wiretime and feed comparison. Track and alert on the difference between the time a trading counterpart claims to have sent you a message, and the PTP-synchronised time that you actually receive it. Look for outliers, and drill into order lifecycle and individual transaction detail to identify and resolve poor performance.
Please refer to the Beeks document Beeks Analytics Data Guide for information about data capture and latency calculations in Beeks Analytics for Markets.
This document provides a user-focused guide to using the Beeks Analytics for Markets user interface. The Beeks Analytics for Markets user interface is called VMX-Explorer.
In Beeks Analytics, VMX-Explorer is a Grafana-based web user interface, and is where Beeks Analytics visualises the analytics provided by VMX-Analysis. VMX-Explorer is fed by the Beeks Analytics REST API.
For more background information on how Grafana is used within Beeks Analytics, pointers for how to use Grafana and information to allow you to create and edit your dashboards, see the User Guide for VMX-Explorer.
