VMX-Explorer includes a number of dashboards in the VMX folder that provide a visual overview of the system health of the appliance.
The list of Health dashboards in the VMX folder depend on requirement. Dashboards that aren’t relevant to your deployment will not be provisioned by the Beeks team.
For multi-region deployments, you can switch to each different system by selecting a different datasource.

Beeks Analytics Health Overview | High-level overview of the overall health of the Beeks Analytics appliance and core services. |
MySQL Health | Metrics around the MariaDB server used for Item Store. |
VMX Analysis Health | CPU, memory, internal metrics around message rates, lag, aggregation performance and scalability of the VMX Analysis components. |
VMX Capture Health | CPU, memory, internal metrics around the capture and decode components - including lag and loss. |
System Health | System-wide CPU, memory, load, disk and network performance metrics. |
Chrony | Monitoring of system time synchronisation using Chrony (NTP status, offsets, and stability). |
Influx External Health Stats | Health and performance statistics for external InfluxDB interactions. |
InfluxDB Health | Monitoring the status and health of the local InfluxDB service used by Beeks Analytics. |
IPMI Stats | Hardware-level health and sensor statistics obtained via IPMI (power, temperature, fans, etc.). |
Micrometer API Stats | Metrics exposed via the Micrometer API, typically covering JVM and application-level instrumentation. |
Multi vmxadmin Health Stats | CPU statistics across multiple Beeks Analytics services as reported by vmxadmin. |
Multi vmxadmin Net Stats | Network statistics across multiple Beeks Analytics services reported by vmxadmin. |
Capture Repository Overview | Health status of the packet capture repository (and the ability to download original PCAPs). |
Napatech monitoring | Monitoring of the Napatech capture card including general status, adapters, ports, and streams. |
QuestDB Monitoring | Provides an overview of your QuestDB instances. |
MDATP Resource Monitoring | Tracks resource usage by Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (MDATP), which is now known as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. |
