RHEL8 and RHEL9 or derivatives are supported.

Rocky Linux is the preferred OS, and is installed on Beeks Analytics turnkey appliances. From Beeks Analytics version 12 onwards, Rocky 9 is the preferred OS version. This provides a 25% performance improvement over Rocky 8.

OS installation is straightforward - ensure that the server is configured with a minimal install - the appliance installer script will configure Beeks Analytics yum repositories - either online, mirrored or local - and configure the system with puppet.

The yum repositories are secured with basic http authentication at https://release.beeksanalytics.com/

Where Beeks provides the appliance, it is provided preconfigured with recommended BIOS and partitioning settings. BIOS and disk layout guidelines for bare-metal or custom deployments can be found in the Appendix.
